Chocking, Grouting and Casting
All of our Cream(s)/Paste(s) and coatings, is highly suitable for chocking, grouting and or casting of resins, for the purpose of creating a strong connection between foundation and equipment.
Using our Wencon Cream(s)/Paste(s) and coatings for chocking, is a very easy and quick way of securing an engine as well as other rotating machinery, and specially when doing repairs on a ship, time is of the essence.
For chocking applications, Wencon is offering a narrow, but very efficient range of products. Wencon Cream(s) “a paste-like consistency” for injection, and Wencon Coating(s) for pouring and injection.
The Wencon products is known for quick curing time as well as for the relative small quantity of product needed. While most shocking compounds require a thickness of approx 25-35 millimeters (1,0-1,4 inch), Wencon products requires only 4-5 mm (0,16-0,2 inch), and still cures perfectly within a short time.
